COMMITTEES:

The committees formed to address specific concerns of the associations are listed below. These committees are formed based on the need to undertake or promote activities cogent to the attainment of the Association objectives. The committee chair is usually a member of the Board; committee members could well be a director or any active member of CPIOPI. As part of the functions of the committee chairs, they are to report to the monthly Board meeting any progress or activity of the committee.

A.    Membership Committee (MC)

the primary activities of the MC are: 

  1. to evaluate membership applicants and recommend for acceptance thereof;

  2. to suggest potential members for the Secretariat to invite: 

  3. to recommend measures that will maintain retention of current members while increasing the number of members. 

 

a.1 MEMBERSHIP DUES - the applicable annual membership dues is P10,000.00.

When the need arises, the Board has the discretion to impose special assessment in such cases as but not limited to a] major undertaking, e.g. a publication, seminars, forums, conference fees.

 

Note: The board has the discretion to increase the membership dues.

B. Ways & Means Committee (WMC)

the WMC’s primary purpose is to organize activities to generate revenues needed to augment the operational cost of the Organization.

C. Professional Development Committee (PDC) the responsibility of the PDC is to ensure the availability of training/workshops and other activities related to professional development. The PDC identifies the topic and the speaker for the training and cooks up ways to stimulate attendance of members.   

D.    Regulatory Affairs Committee (RAC)

the RAC looks after the issues on regulatory concerns that matter to the membership. 

Since the RA covers wide areas of concerns, it is composed of a large committee with membership coming from as many companies as possible. The RA therefore is comprised of several sub-committees to address varied concerns of different industry sectors.

E.    Stakeholders' Communication Committee

the SCC is responsible in providing updated and relevant information to the membership.
